More than 40,000 Penn Staters have graduated with a degree earned through Penn State World Campus since it launched in 1998. To mark the milestone, World Campus will celebrate with a series of alumni success stories throughout the 2025–26 academic year.
The 40 stories includes monthly articles, photos, social media posts, and videos featuring Penn State World Campus alumni.
The campaign recognizes the diverse professional journeys that alumni have taken and the successes they have had because of the Penn State degrees they earned online.
Alumni who would like to be considered can share an update about themselves.
A virtual event to culminate the “40k alumni: 40 stories celebrating 40,000 graduates” is being planned for the spring semester.
