This year’s exhibit, “Simplism: Finding Creativity in Chaos,” features the vibrant work of designer, illustrator, and Penn State alumnus Brian Kappel ’98. His career spans collaborations with major brands including Nike, Jordan Brand, Under Armour, adidas, and ESPN, and includes important works of art on the Penn State University Park campus. On Friday, July 10, Kappel will offer a live art demonstration from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Hintz Family Alumni Center, giving visitors an inside look at his creative process. The exhibit is free and open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on July 10 and 11.
In conjunction with Hintzpiration, Penn State Alumni Association members are invited to an exclusive reception with Brian on Friday, July 10, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. at the Hintz Family Alumni Center. Admission is $25 per member.
