Join the Penn State Eberly College of Science’s Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics to explore the universe with Dr. Joel Leja, the Lee M. Hammarstrom-Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Endowed Faculty member and an assistant professor of astronomy and astrophysics. Dr. Leja is a leader in the international team of scientists investigating the “little red dots” that were discovered from early observations from the James Webb Telescope and are thought to be galaxies or supermassive black holes.
