Penn State World Campus is inviting its alumni to three events in Pennsylvania this fall to connect with each other and University leaders.
The events, two in Philadelphia and one in Pittsburgh, will celebrate Penn State’s impact in the state and as an innovator in education.
The Global Impact Forum
World Campus alumni are invited to register for The Global Impact Forum (TGIF) 2024, an event aimed at building partnerships to foster economic development, social mobility, and positive impact through education and innovation. Penn State is a founding partner of TGIF 2024 with Global Silicon Valley.
The event is being held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia from September 22 to 25. Conference tracks include agriculture and food security, education, energy, life sciences, and more.

‘Penn State and Tech in Pittsburgh’
World Campus alumni in the Pittsburgh area are invited to attend “Penn State and Tech in Pittsburgh: Impacting the Region for Good” from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, at the Franco Harris Pittsburgh Center at Penn State.
Leaders from World Campus, the College of Information Sciences and Technology, and Penn State Outreach will share updates about Penn State in the Pittsburgh area with attendees.
World Campus and the Penn State College of Information Sciences and Technology will cohost the complimentary event. Light refreshments will be served.

‘Advancing Innovation’ in Philadelphia
Philadelphia-area alumni of World Campus are invited to attend “Advancing Innovation in Online, Graduate, and Professional Education” on Wednesday, October 9, at the Penn State Great Valley campus in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
The complimentary event will include updates on Penn State’s horizon in the Philadelphia area and remarks from leaders from World Campus, the University’s J. Jeffrey and Ann Marie Fox Graduate School, and Penn State Great Valley. Light refreshments will be served.
