Feel like you are just Lion around lately? Take some Pride in doing something to improve your well-being. Strike your own cat-like pose with other Penn State World Campus alumni in a yoga session with guest leader Joann Dornich! This practice is appropriate for all levels. The focus will be on fundamentals. Joann will share tools (specific stretches) for those who work online, as well as breath work (pranayama).

Joann recently retired from World Campus, where she assisted students and faculty for twelve years. She has practiced yoga for more than three decades and has taught adult and children’s group classes as well as private instruction for 25 years. She completed yoga teacher training in 2005 and is E-RYT® 200, YACEP® with Yoga Alliance. She has additional training through Integral Yoga Institute, the Himalayan Institute, U.S. Art of Living, Shri Yoga, and Iyengar Yoga Institute of Central PA, and in trauma-sensitive yoga. Her teaching style is interdisciplinary hatha yoga with a focus on pranayama and meditation practice.

This event is part of a series of Monthly Alumni Chats hosted by Amber Redmond that highlight topics of interest to Penn State World Campus alumni and provide alumni an opportunity to connect and share in real time. Special guests may be also featured from time to time. This Chat will not be recorded to encourage live participation.
