The Penn State Alumni Association invites all alumni to take advantage of their virtual speaker session series. This session features Patricia Jabbeh Wesley, a Penn State Altoona professor of creative writing and African literature and author of six volumes of poetry. Her poems and memoir articles, telling the story of her own flight from the Liberian civil war, have appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies, including Harvard Review, Transition, Prairie Schooner, and The New York Times Magazine.
