The Penn State Alumni Association invites all alumni to take advantage of their virtual speaker session series. This session features Shaheen Pasha and Yukari Iwatani Kane, co-founders and co-executive directors of the Prison Journalism Project. They will discuss how prison journalism education can shed light on an invisible aspect of society and help the incarcerated population become thought leaders in conversations around criminal justice and mass incarceration.
