The Penn State Alumni Association invites all alumni to take advantage of their virtual speaker session series. This session features LaVarr McBride, an author, consultant, and advisor on the subject of violent crime. He is an expert in trauma associated with violent crime, specifically homicide and sexual assault and abuse cases. He is currently working with survivors and experts in mass shootings, identifying pre-cursor behavior that could impact the frequency of mass shootings. He will discuss his research and experience regarding victims, addressing the question, “how do we best help victims of violent crime and hold the offenders accountable for their actions?”
