The Penn State Alumni Association invites all alumni to take advantage of their virtual speaker session series. This session features Michael Berkman, Penn State faculty member, author of three books and numerous articles on American politics, and director of the Penn State McCourtney Institute for Democracy. Michael will discuss how the American public feels about democracy and how the 2020 election — in the context of partisan polarization, state control of election administration, and accusations of “rigging” — further risks the integrity of American democracy.
