The Penn State Alumni Association invites all alumni to take advantage of their virtual speaker series. This session features Velvet Brown, 2022–23 Penn State Laureate, David P. Stone Endowed Professor, and associate director for equity, diversity, and inclusion in the School of Music. She will share her story of how when she focused on looking up, she became more centered and could see that her career path is an extension of where her musical journey began, where her motivation lies, and where her footsteps may take her in the future.
