Join the Penn State Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing for the inaugural season of the Gunter-Gooding DEI Lecture Series. The series will center on challenges and opportunities in nursing and heath care related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. The first lecture will feature G. Rumay Alexander, Ed.D., RN, FAAN, professor in the School of Nursing, assistant dean of relational excellence at the Adams School of Dentistry, and former associate vice chancellor for diversity and inclusion/chief diversity officer of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She will discuss racial disparities found in nursing.

This lecture will be held in person at the HUB Freeman Auditorium at University Park and broadcasted live. The lecture is free and open to the public. Registration required for virtual attendance.
