The Penn State College of Education invites you to participate in their GOLD Women’s Leadership Webinar Series held during July 2021. This webinar features Dr. Judy Alston, professor and director of the doctoral program in leadership studies at Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. In 2010, Dr. Alston became the first Black woman to be promoted to Full Professor in the history of Ashland University. Her research foci include Black female school superintendents; the exploration of how the intersections of class, race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and ability affect leaders; tempered radicals and refined revolutionaries; servant leadership; spirituality; and Black LGBT issues in leadership.

This webinar will examine how the intersections of care, justice, responsibility, and conviction provide a frame and foundation for the calling to leadership for women in organizations.
