Penn State World Campus partnering with Association of the United States Army

Penn State World Campus is now a proud partner of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA).

Soldiers, members of the AUSA, and their family members who are interested in exploring higher education can now have access to a Penn State education online through the organization’s Enhance Your Life program.

The program provides the AUSA community with a variety of personal and professional development opportunities through online courses and credentials from colleges and universities across the country.

Many military service members choose to learn online because of the flexibility it provides them in their active-duty and reserve roles.

Members can explore the more than 200 Penn State degrees and certificates available online through Penn State World Campus. Offerings include areas of study in critical fields such as cybersecurity, logistics, engineering, homeland security, and more.

The degree and certificate programs have been designed to be flexible for adult learners like students in the military, who need to balance the demands of military life with their education.

AUSA is a nonprofit educational and professional development association serving the Army. AUSA provides a voice for the Army, supports the soldier, and honors those who have served in order to advance the security of the nation.

Joining forces with the military community

Penn State World Campus aims to be a strong supporter of the military community.

The partnership with AUSA is the latest effort to continue expanding access to higher education to military learners through online learning.

Penn State World Campus is a partner with the United Service Organizations (USO) to help service members transitioning to civilian life explore higher education. World Campus began accepting transfer credits in 2024 from the Community College of the Air Force toward a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership.

A Penn State education online

Penn State World Campus has been offering a Penn State education online since 1998 and is consistently one of the top-ranked institutions of online learning for the military.

Penn State World Campus is highly ranked by organizations such as Military Times and U.S. News & World Report for the quality of its degree programs and the support services it provides to military and veteran students. The Pennsylvania National Guard Associations has also recognized it as a Guard-friendly school.

The benefits and financial aid for military learners include an undergraduate grant-in-aid program and scholarships. Specially trained military support teams assist students during the admissions process and with financial aid and academic advising.
