The Penn State Alumni Association invites all alumni to take advantage of their virtual speaker series. This discussion features award-winning filmmaker Boaz Dvir, who will talk about his film Class of Her Own, which focuses on the work of classroom superhero and teacher Gloria Jean Marriex. Ms. Merriex rewrote her curriculum to include hip hop, dance, and other local cultural norms to help her students succeed in learning.
